My Michelin Chef Training - Babak Taherkhani

I have always tried to expand my horizons in creating new dishes and exciting the taste buds of my diners. This year I have embarked on a journey to become a Michelin Chef, training with some of the world's best known chefs. My journey so far.

Autumn 2023. Training alongside Clare Smyth of Core restaurant in London - the UK's only female to have achieved 3 Michelin Stars.
February 2024. Training with Claude Bosi, owner of Bibendum restaurant in London - Claude Bosi is the only chef in history to have Michelin stars awarded to the restaurant in the orginal UK Michelin HQ.

Babak Taherkhani Michelin Stars Journey
Proud moment for Babak in front of Famous Michelin Window
To receive a certificate in front of the huge stained glass window that features the Michelin Man must be the dream of every chef in Britain. Originally the home of Michelin's headquarters in London, it was converted into a restaurant by Sir Terence Conran and has for over 30 years been a temple to fine dining.

" I trained as a chef in Monteflavio, with my Uncle Ghods in one Italy's five-star hotels and have always taken every opportunity to learn from the very best.

Having completed my training with Clare Smyth at Core restaurant in London, it was one of the proudest moments in my life to receive my Chef Academy Diploma for the Michelin Star Chef Course in front of the famous Michelin window". Babak
2024, Babak continues his Michelin Star journey with formal training starting at Bibendum in London where he will train alongside Claude Bosi owner of Bibendum who many will remember for his time at Michelin Star restaurant Hibiscus in Ludlow.
